All cancellations must be made via email or telephone and cancellation must be done with our written notice. Depending on which date the request to cancel is received by Bluko, we will determine the refund due as follows:
- Cancellations 7 days or more prior to the start of the tour will result in a reimbursement of the tour amount paid with a deduction of any non-recoverable expenses acquired by the tour guide on your behalf. These non-recoverable expenses may represent, but are not limited to tickets, transportation deposits and other tour expenses. To find out more about these expenses, please send a message to the tour guide assigned to you to find out what, if any, these costs might be.
- Cancellations 14 to 8 days prior to the start of the tour will result in a reimbursement of 50% of the amount paid minus any non-recoverable expenses as listed above.
- Cancellations 7 days prior to the start of the tour will result in no refund.
In some cases, the Tour Guide may cancel a tour due to unacceptable weather or other circumstance, which would not allow you to take part in the tour. In such event that your tour is canceled by the tour guide, or does not deliver it as promised, you may choose between rescheduling your tour or ask for a full refund of all money paid. In addition you may also choose to take a credit towards an alternative tour. If you choose to accept a credit towards an alternative tour, the difference in the cost of the alternative tour will be refunded. If the cost is more than your original tour, you will be asked to pay the difference.
Bluko will not take on the responsibility for any secondary expenses you may have obtained as a result of the purchase of a tour. For example: Visas, vaccinations, non-refundable flights, non-refundable accommodations, etc.
